Lighting the Way

A single beam of light can transform a moment — and our lighting team knows exactly how to set the mood. They don’t just turn lights on and off; they sculpt every scene with colour, shadow, and timing to draw your eyes and stir your emotions.
From the soft glow of a romantic scene to the electric pulse of a musical number, lighting helps tell the story in ways words can’t.
The Power of Sound

Every moment on stage has a sound that helps tell the story — the creak of a door, the crash of thunder, the echo of footsteps, or the swell of music that brings a scene to life. Our sound team are the ones who create, find, and operate those effects, adding texture and emotion to every performance.

It’s a mix of creativity and precision: building soundscapes that transport the audience to another world, then cueing them perfectly in sync with the action. From dramatic atmospheres to subtle background effects, sound adds depth you can feel even if you don’t notice it directly.

Dressed for Drama

Every costume tells a story before a single line is spoken. Our wardrobe team transforms performers into their characters — designing, styling, repairing, and managing costumes for every scene.
They’re masters of detail, creativity, and quick thinking, especially when those famous backstage quick changes come flying their way!
The Soundtrack of the Show

The Saltburn 53 band gives our productions their pulse — weaving rhythm, emotion, and energy into every moment. Whether it’s underscoring a tense scene or bringing down the house with a show-stopping number, the band sets the pace and lifts every performance.
They may be tucked away from view, but their music fills the entire theatre, connecting the audience and performers in ways only live sound can.
The Invisible Heroes
While the audience is swept up in the story, our backstage crew are making it all happen behind the scenes. They move sets, handle props, manage cues, and ensure every transition is seamless.
You might not see them, but every scene change, sound effect, and curtain drop depends on their timing and teamwork.
